Research on how to run a workshop.

When considering sketching a tool to convey ideas and build a workshop around it, we were having a hard time defining meaningful tasks so I thought to forget about this idea and rather than focusing on creating a workshop based on a tool, create it around what we want to focus on.

While researching about workshops in general I have found that in order to plan the workshop I would have to decide what the participants would learn and not only be specific on topic but be aware of the purpose of each task as well.

A workshop shouldn’t be a lecture so we have thought of activities that would be interactive. I’ve also learned that it’s good that we take breaks regularly so we have decided to let everyone have cake or some pretzels while they do the tasks.
